"Personally I like going places where I don’t speak the language, don’t know anybody, don’t know my way around and don’t have any delusions that I’m in control. Disoriented, even frightened, I feel alive, awake in ways I never am at home."
Michael Mewshaw

As many of you have probably figured out by not, traveling is my passion. I love the excitement of a new place, or even a same place that I get to revisit. I love soaking in life and experiences; languages and site; food and drink. The only problem with being an adventurer, is the times that lack adventure. The times when routine sets in and you have to settle your mind somehow. This is me right now. I am having a difficult time being content with life currently. I long to be on a plane, long to be taken to a far away land. Contentment is a double edged sword as I look at. Being content where you are is good, but never stop striving for what is in store for you.  I am trying my hardest to seek what he wants for me, and learning day by day what that is.

{thoughts}

Just a few thoughts for the weekend {and possibly more links than thoughts, but that is other people's thoughts though..right?}:
I really enjoy getting mail. Handwritten letters are the sweetest thing. They show that someone was thinking of you and took time out of there day to write you something really great. This week I got a letter from one of my most favourite people, Megan. It was definitely the nicest letter I have ever received and she definitely thinks WAY too highly of me, but that is what friends are for. I really need to start writing letters more.
Also, a post that really got me thinking can be found here. I think we all have these crisis' and its really great to see people blogging about them. I mean, it's not great that they have to deal with it but it is nice to know you are not alone :)
I have started to read The Hunger Games. I said I would never give in, but that trailer. It just looks so intense, and I cannot, absolutely CANNOT, go see it without reading the book first. That is blasphemy.
You should probably listen to this song while you are going about your weekend. It will make just about anything fun.
And one last thing, a great quote to remember for your weekend:
"The minute you start enjoying yourself and the person you've become, when you walk into a room with your head held high, the minute you wake up and are glad to be you, the possibilities and opportunities will come knocking at your door." -Anonymous
