{easter sunday}

What a wonderful Easter had. It began with going to church with my two very best friends and then heading over to Universel (the best brunch spot in Montreal, and debatably the world). It was so nice spending the day with my friends and celebrating Easter. Easter is a great holiday for so many reasons. It really makes me feel full of life and joy. It was different not being with my family on Easter this year. Kind of sad, and kind of exciting. Exciting because I am growing up and starting traditions of my own, but sad because I miss my family and will miss how we used to do things. But alas, c'est la vie. I hope you all had a great Easter Sunday and weekend, and an even better week!

What traditions do you guys have for easter?
And, in other news, I bought a new camera! So expect some videos soon :)

  1. I don't really have a tradition for Easter! Every year is different. This year it's loads of homemade food and brainstorming with friends.
    It looks like you have had a lovely time.

  3. these pictures are just great! looks like you had a great little easter! it's true that growing up it's fun to come up with your own traditions, but also fun to go home and do all those things you grew up doing. fortunately i was able to head home and do the typical easter egg hunt, even being 24. proving you are never too old. happy belated easter!

  4. I live far from home too so holidays are always different than they used to be, your friends really do become like your surrogate family when you're an expat! looks like you had a great easter though.

    p.s. thanks so much for visiting my blog! the leggings i'm wearing in that photo are from black milk, i've since edited that post to include a link xx
